Committee Responsibilities
Buildings & Grounds - supervise existing facilities and land usage.
New Construction - advise, approve and supervise any new approved construction.
Caretaker Agreement - develop yearly contract and supervise adherance.
Equipment Maintenance - advise and direct repairs and upkeep of equipment.
Maintenance Guidelines - establish and direct facilities improvement standards.
Operations Guidelines - direct continuous operations, inventory and guidelines.
Current Facilities Committee Projects
- Looking for a windmill for the camp.
- Finish construction of Picnic Shelters that were started by the
Sojourners.
- Complete landscaping around new entrance sign that was built and funded
by the Grand Island congregation.
- Storm Shelters - Concrete floors.
- Construct maintenance building.
- Make plans for new dining hall.

Dining Hall Needs:
Eating area to seat 200.
Kitchen size to feed 200.
Meeting room for 50.
Rest rooms.
Dry Storage. Walk-in Cooler. Freezer.
Delivery dock.
Dish room with dish washer.
Space for serving line.
Drink Bar.
Outside covered porch.
Cleaning supplies room.
Washer/dryer.
Table and chair storage.
