“ Nebraska Youth Camp was always a compass to help me find "True North". My goal is to provide current campers with an even better camp experience than I ever did.
Not only was camp fun, but I whole-heartedly believe that it holds an integral role in establishing the leadership skills that it takes to be a leader in the church today. It gave me the confidence to lead singing, preach, and teach bible class. It also showed me that everyone has a part to play. Looking back on it, the things that I disliked most about camp when I was younger (work detail, leading chapel, etc) are the things that I am most thankful for.
God uses NYC for His glory and I'm thankful He allows me to be a part of that plan. ”
Christian uses his many years of experience in marketing, public relations, business, and his youth involvement/ministry experiences to serve the camp. He currently works as a Territory Manager for Sysco Guest Supply.
Outside of church and camp Christian enjoys golf, football, martial arts (Muay Thai, JiuJitsu, Karate, Jun Fan Gung Fu), upland bird hunting, gun dog training, art, music, ukulele, and spending time with his wife.
Christian's favorite scripture is Psalm 144:1-2 “ Praise be to the LORD my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle. He is my loving God and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield, in whom I take refuge, who subdues peoples under me. ”
